Jeremy D. Jones
MCC Founding Co-Director & Conductor
Jeremy D. Jones is the Director of Choral Activities, Fisher-Holoviak Endowed Professor of Music, and Interim Chair in the Department of Music at Miami University. He conducts the Men’s Glee Club, and teaches conducting and choral methods. His research focuses on tenor-bass choral music, particularly with the Miami University Men’s Glee Club.
Dr. Jones has led the Glee Club on tours across 11 countries and 20 states, including performances at the Vatican’s Papal Basilica of Saint Peter. His work has been featured at prominent conferences such as the National Collegiate Choral Organization and the American Choral Directors Association. He has produced notable recordings, including "We Are" and "Old and New Worlds," and had a choral series with Walton Music. Dr. Jones is also a frequent guest conductor, recently leading the Illinois All-State High School Honors Choir and the Tennessee All-State Tenor Bass Choir.

Reina Dickey
MCC Founding Co-Director & Conductor
Reina Dickey is Assistant Professor of Music at Miami University, where she directs Chamber Singers and instructs choral music education courses. As a Cincinnati-based conductor, she serves as Artistic Director of MUSE, Cincinnati Women’s Choir. Dr. Dickey's research interest centers on underrecognized choral works and composers, particularly works by seventeenth-century Italian nun composers.
A proud alumnae of Miami University’s undergraduate music education program, she is honored to have the opportunity to work with current and future generations of Miami artists and educators. She holds additional conducting degrees from University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music (DMA) and Temple University (MM).
Jon Sanford
MCC Accompanist
Jon Sanford is a collaborative pianist and music educator based in Oxford, Ohio. He has served on the staff of Miami University for over a decade, where he has taught Aural Skills and Functional Piano and currently accompanies the Miami Choral Collective, Chamber Singers, and Men’s Glee Club. In addition to his university work, Jon is active as a collaborative pianist throughout the greater Cincinnati area, performing regularly with choirs, instrumentalists, and vocalists. Jon’s work as a collaborative performer has included appearances at state and national conferences as well as tours across 18 states and 10 countries.
Jon is deeply engaged in the musical community outside of the university. He serves as Chair of the Ohio Federation of Music Clubs District III-F Festival, adjudicates for student competitions, and serves as the Music Director at Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church. Jon is also the Founder and Director of Oxford Music Academy, a community music school with over 30 instructors offering lessons in piano, voice, guitar, strings, percussion, winds, and brass.
Jon holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from Miami University and a Bachelor of Music from Cincinnati Christian University. Additionally, he is a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music through the Music Teachers National Association.
