βBeing able to actually share the music and talk with community members... itβs definitely something very valuable.β
βBringing together people from the college and the community in a shared love of music, thatβs probably my favorite thing about it. I love community choirs, and I love the energy that they can bring.β
βItβs such a satisfying and enriching and incredibly fun thing to sing with other people. I love doing that. MCC rehearsal is the highlight of my week.β
About MCC
Miami Choral Collective is a mixed voice community choir in Oxford, Ohio (home of Miami University). Established in 2024 by founding co-directors Jeremy Jones and Reina Dickey, MCC unites the University community of students, faculty, and staff with the broader Oxford community to create a shared and meaningful experience through singing.
Our mission is to foster connection, collaboration, and joy through the power of music, enriching the lives of all participants and strengthening the bond between the university and the surrounding community.
Your voice matters
MCC is open to everyone regardless of experience or skill level. No audition is required.
We sing great music within a time commitment that recognizes our membersβ busy lives. If you love to sing, we would love for you to join us.
